Preserving the Voices of the Andes
Founded in 2020 in Cusco, Peru, PachaMind began with a singular, urgent mission: to digitally preserve and freely share the oral traditions and ancestral knowledge of the Andean people. As modernization accelerates, the risk of losing these centuries-old teachings grows. PachaMind operates as a registered nonprofit organization to ensure that this cultural memory—passed down through generations of Amauta sages and local guides—remains accessible to everyone, regardless of geography or financial means.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
The Mountain is an Elder
In the Andean worldview, the landscape is not simply a backdrop for human activity; it is a living relative. When we say “the mountain is not scenery, it is an elder,” we are sharing the core of the Incan philosophy. The earth (Pachamama), the mountains (Apus), and the rivers are all conscious entities that demand our respect, reciprocity, and care. Our teachings aim to restore this fundamental relationship, shifting the modern mindset from extraction to sacred connection.

Through our free documentary videos, digital learning tracks, and cultural curriculum, PachaMind serves spiritual seekers, historians, and students worldwide. How We Are Funded
To keep our curriculum, documentary videos, and web platforms running, we rely entirely on the generosity of our global community and foundational grants. If our teachings have brought value to your path and you wish to support the preservation of Andean culture, your donations go directly toward producing new free educational content, compensating our indigenous guides fairly, and maintaining our digital library.
